Project objectives:
The study involved the constructing of a comprehensive picture for passenger and freight mobility demand on the provincial road network, based on the collection and systematization of primary and secondary data (including 110 traffic survey stations). The acquired information enabled the construction and calibration of a large-scale traffic model, designed to adequately support the analysis of the effects induced by road maintenance activities and/or the planning of project interventions of varying importance. To complete the service, specific analyses on safety and accident on the network were conducted.
Output:
- Report on the results of preliminary analyses and investigations.
- Performance analysis of existing transportation systems.
- Large-scale mobility demand analysis.
- Supply, demand and demand-supply interaction models.
- Modeling of project scenarios.
- Analysis of safety and accidents on the network.
