Project objectives:
The study resulted in the drafting of the PUMS (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan) for the Larnaca Metropolitan area. In line with the European standards, the study evaluates all transportation systems within the city and establishes objectives, targets, and measures to address any critical issues identified in the preliminary context analysis. It includes the definition and comparison of potential future scenarios using traffic simulation software. The final document outlines the preferred future scenario, a comprehensive list of measures and packages of measures to be implemented, their implementation plans, analysis of required resources, and a plan for ongoing monitoring of the PUMS.
