Project objectives:

Identification of solutions aimed at optimizing the accessibility of the Port of Ancona, with particular attention to:

• Connections between the port and the main interchanges of urban and suburban mobility (LPT road terminals and stops, railway station).
• Quality of travel.
• Providing constant and clear information to users during their journey and when making modal changes.

Output:

• Analysis of the context and of the Port’s infrastructure and adduction services.
• Identification of the current critical issues, with particular reference to the efficiency of connections, levels of modal integration and effectiveness of information systems aimed at Port users.
• Analysis of the demand currently met by the Port (definition of catchment areas according to different levels of accessibility).
• Critical analysis of the findings.
• Support for the definition of interventions in the different areas.
