Project objectives:

The objective of the project is to define a mobility strategy that ensures a high level of accessibility for a sports hub under construction in Milan. To this end, after a detailed analysis of the current transportation infrastructure and services and the characteristics of the urban fabric, sustainable mobility solutions were defined to ensure a high level of accessibility to the new sports hub, including:

• Pedestrian paths.
• Bicycle network and supporting infrastructure.
• Shared mobility and its configuration.
• Public transportation services.

Output:

• Analysis of the urban fabric adjacent to the intervention area.
• Current levels of demand and accessibility.
• Explanatory graphic and cartographic elaborations of current conditions.
• Estimation of the multimodal demand generated by the new sports hub.
• Pedestrian access routes to the proposed sports hub.
• Bicycle network serving the sports hub.
• Shared mobility systems.
• Routes and infrastructure for public transport.
